Sisters of Selma: Bearing Witness for Change
Sisters of Selma: Bearing Witness for Change is a 2007 documentary directed by Jayasri Hart which interviews the Catholic nuns who traveled to Selma during the Civil Rights Movement to support equal voting rights for all. This website is run by the Carondelet Consolidated Archives, which owns the rights to the documentary’s archival film footage. The Carondelet Consolidated Archives is the North American repository for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (excluding the St. Paul Province). Avila University owns the rights to the actual documentary, which they have made freely available for viewing on their Vimeo website.
